Inclusive Leadership for Business Excellence

On 23rd and 24th of October, the conference “Diversity Inclusive Performance Drivers Jacob Fleming” took place in London. As the “Business Case for Diversity” is becoming an increasingly relevant issue within the companies’ agenda, Diversity-Experts, CEOs and Managers came together to learn how to tailor best practice within the European legislative framework and to succeed in a changing era. European Diversity Research & Consulting was Media Partner of this event.
Senior decision-makers from leading companies were present at the events both as speakers and as delegates. Michael Stuber, CEO & Founder of European Diversity Research & Consulting, spoke about “Inclusive Leadership for Business Excellence”. He made a strong point about the future role of leaders and leadership, since managing changes. Understanding the human machine means to realise that outcome begins with thoughts and feelings that create our behavior and therefore our results. This is what the Propelling Potential Principle says.
Managing the complexity of business is what a strategic leadership with Diversity deals with. It includes Innovation, Change, Brands and Markets among other things. It also means managing a competitive environment. Here, the Propelling Potential Principle comes into play, because it combines inside and outside aspects to generate benefits out of it.
On the operational level it is important to build and manage diverse teams. Leaders face a complex and diverse workplace and so the teams are. The mission is to translate corporate culture and objectives, identify potential and coordinate teams. Therefore a bunch of competencies must be trained as empathy, holistic view, and business focus. Thus, leadership in a complex future needs ongoing change to make the difference.
