Das Problem ist bekannt: Deutschland hat im internationalen Vergleich zu wenig hochqualifizierte Beschäftigte. Einen – bisher noch nicht gehörten – Lösungsvorschlag haben ForscherInnen der Fachhochschule für Oekonomie & Management jetzt artikuliert: „Mit alternativen Studienformen, wie beispielsweise dem berufsbegleitenden Studium, kann dieses Problem behoben werden“, sagt Dr. Matthias Klumpp, Professor an der FOM.

Kryptische Quellcodes, bunte Grafiken und kleine Schriften – nicht nur das erkrankte Auge trifft im Internet auf Barrieren. Um diese und andere Hürden beim „Surfen“ noch schneller ausfindig zu machen, wird die Meldestelle des „Aktionsbündnis für barrierefreie Informationstechnik“ künftig ehrenamtliche Beschäftigte für die Barrieren-Suche im „World Wide Web“ einsetzen.
