Germany-wide competition “365 Landmarks in Land of Ideas”
The 365 winners in the German country-wide competition “365 Orte im Land der Ideen“ (365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas) for 2009 have been announced. Among the winners is pme Familienservice, which was awarded for its nationwide network of back-up childcare facilities. From more than 2,000 entries from companies, research institutes, art and cultural institutions, social projects and initiatives, the 18-member jury chose the winners in seven categories. The pme Familienservice is represented in the category “education and youth” for their nationwide network of 20 facilities which provide last-minute and emergency childcare provisions in which services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.On each of the 365 days of the year 2009, one winner will present their innovative idea during a public event. The pme Familienservice will mark the occasion on 21 August 2009 in Frankfurt through a large summer festival.
