Pfizer’s Dubai Leadership Summit
Leaders from Pfizer’s Emerging Markets Business Unit (EMBU) gathered in Dubai for a global leadership summit. Issues particularly affecting the role of women in the workplace and how to foster the development of all talented people in a company and industry dealing with immense global challenges and new opportunities were explored.
“At Pfizer, we understand that a diverse workforce benefits customers, colleagues and our overall business,” said senior vice president and general counsel Amy Schulman, executive sponsor of Pfizer’s Global Women’s Council (GWC). “Our commitment to inclusion extends from the executive leadership team throughout our organization, and this summit is a clear example of how we are aiming to translate that commitment into tangible results.” The summit will build a worldwide multicultural mindset for the diverse workforce of the future.
Pfizer emerging markets spans more than 70 countries, across 20 time zones with 16,000 colleagues and the potential to reach approximately 5 billion people.
